This time we have speaker Dick Beath speaking mainly of his service in Northern Ireland and will challenge you with his enthralling, first-hand experiences during ‘The Troubles’. Not to be missed ! Dick joined the Army at Sandhurst and became an officer in charge of 30 soldiers in a vicious shooting war in Belfast after Bloody Sunday. Not brought up a Christian, he experienced his first contact with God after a three-sided ambush in which one of his soldiers was shot and a civilian onlooker killed. After two more dangerous operational tours he went to University where his spiritual questions were, astoundingly, answered.
