Engaging with Those from a Muslim Background – Seminar & Testimony Evening

On the 1st of March, we had the privilege of hosting two significant events, equipping and encouraging us in how we engage with those from a Muslim background.
Seminar: Engaging with Those from a Muslim Background
In the morning at St. Andrew’s, Paul Philips from Frontiers led an insightful seminar on how to engage with Muslims in discussions of faith with love, respect, and wisdom. Drawing from his 11 years of experience in Lebanon and Egypt, Paul shared real-life stories, practical guidance, and biblical principles to help us approach these conversations well. The seminar challenged our thinking and encouraged us to step out with greater confidence and compassion.

Testimony & Prayer Evening with Open Doors and SAT-7
Later that evening, we gathered for a powerful time of testimony, worship, and prayer.
- Dan from Open Doors interviewed John Ghanim, who shared his remarkable journey from devout Muslim to atheist, and ultimately to faith in Jesus. His story of transformation was both inspiring and deeply moving.
- The second half of the evening focused on worship and intercession, with an interactive prayer space and resources from SAT-7. It was a meaningful time of lifting up the Muslim world in prayer and standing in solidarity with our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for these events. We pray that what was shared will continue to bear fruit in our conversations and prayers.
