For several years now, Alan Hodges and his team have given us a beautiful Tenebrae service on Good Friday night. Tenebrae is a traditional candlelit service that provides a time of reflection through readings and songs. It captures the shadows of mourning that occurred following Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem through to his crucifixion on Good Friday.
If you have not experienced this gathering before, it can be a deeply moving time.
This year , Friday 10th April 2020, will look a little different as we hope to capture the essence of Tenebrae whilst remaining at home by using Zoom!
In preparation, you will need to be sitting in a gently lit room, with a Candle in front of you. The meeting will be 'open' from 8.55 pm, to join us use the links below. In the spirit of Tenebrae, please enter the Zoom meeting in silence and leave in silence.
We look forward to seeing you!
