The Foundry is a volunteer programme designed to equip Interns for God’s great mission, with Jesus at the centre. Through in-depth training and mentoring, in a supportive and biblically based environment, The Foundry enables Interns to grow deeper in their understanding and experience of God through church ministry.

 

Who we are

We are a vibrant church community, committed to excellent, Spirit-filled Bible teaching and seeking God, as he ministers to us and equips us by his Holy Spirit. We provide an ideal context that is supportive, biblical, risk-taking, varied, with a fun and experienced staff team, to enable Interns to learn and grow effectively in ministry.

Partnership: The Foundry is a volunteer partnership between Interns and the Church

Deepening: The Foundry programme is designed to enable Interns to grow deeper in their understanding and experience of God and ministry in his service

For Christ: The Foundry exists for the glory of Jesus. Your training and your service is all about Jesus: loving him, sharing him, serving him

Programme details

Dates: September 2023 – July 2024

Finance: Interns will be required to raise financial support for the year. HTCD will offer support and guidance on how to do this.

Accommodation: HTCD will seek to provide lodging locally with a church family.

Training:

• Outstanding teaching on Bible handling from Bath’s Ministry Training Course 

• In house training from our experienced ministry heads and clergy

• Fortnightly mentoring

• Practical and spiritual responsibility in a ministry area: Children / Youth / Worship / Evangelism
